Terry’s Landscaping was founded in 1995 as a lawn mowing and maintenance company. Over the past 30 years, we have grown into a full-service landscape design and installation firm, complemented by a thriving Garden Center. Today, as a Women’s Business Enterprise, we proudly serve the Greater St. Louis, MO, and Metro East Illinois areas, with our Garden Center located in Cahokia Heights, IL.

Our business is led by Lee Ann Terry, an award-winning landscape designer with a degree in horticulture. She manages the Garden Center and serves as our head landscape designer. The landscape division is overseen by Mike Terry, an award-winning landscaper specializing in design and installation. Together, they bring decades of expertise and a shared passion for transforming outdoor spaces.

Our History

Terry’s Home & Garden began as Terry’s Outdoor Services, Inc. in 1995, originally focused on lawn mowing and maintenance. Over time, we expanded into a full-service landscape design and installation company, eventually adding our Garden Center in Cahokia Heights, IL. In the late 2000s, we earned multiple awards, including the 2007 and 2008 Excellence in Landscaping Gold Awards from the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA). A pivotal moment in our growth came in 2009 when we brought on Ernest Wertheim —a renowned garden center and landscaping industry icon—as a mentor and advisor. His expertise helped shape our business into what it is today.
